The Merrimack Valley Ringers is an auditioned community handbell ensemble organized in 2002 with eight ringers. For the 2008-2009 season, MVR has a full complement of seventeen ringers who travel as much as two hours to rehearsal from various areas of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Our members are all ringers in or directors of other handbell choirs, which makes scheduling a challenge. Rehearsals are held twice a month for three hours each at West Chelmsford (MA)United Methodist Church.

Merrimack Valley Ringers recorded and produced their first CD, Seasons Ringings, in January 2007.
